It was Christmas Eve, and Kendall and his family invited me over to spend their Christmas celebration with them. We all gathered around the Christmas tree in their living room. Kendall's whole famliy was there along with his Grandma and Grandpa Gallaher. Kendall's parents spoiled me quite a bit and I received so many nice gifts. I was not expecting this next gift from Kendall, though. Someone picked up a gift and handed it to me. The box was so heavy, I could hardly pick it up. When I ripped off the paper and opened the present, there was this box, full of road atlases. No wonder the box was so heavy! I was a bit confused at first and was pulling scrunched up paper out of the box, when I found a little white jewelry box. I was a bit surprised. I looked around, and Kendall's whole family was looking at me. I looked back at the box, opened the lid, and inside the to top lid was a little note written on a piece of paper, stuck to the top of the lid that said, "Joanne Church will you marry me?" I pulled out the ring, tried it on my finger, and then, feeling a bit shocked and bashful, I looked around at everyone. Someone said, "Well?" I looked at Kendall, and said, "Oh. Yes, by the way." Kendall's grandpa Gallaher walked over to where I was sitting, stood in front of me, took my hand and kissed it and said, "Welcome to the family!" This was the best Christmas I have ever experienced. Kendall is my dream come true, and I cannot express the joy that I feel, knowing that we have the chance to be together forever. I love you Kendall!
